English PremierSHIT
got some real exciting news and some damn sickening news. alright, lets talk about the exciting news first. the club that i've have been supporting since i was 10 or better known as Manchester United is about to buy the most exciting young player in Europe. Ok for those that don't know him, his name is Wayne Rooney and he was born in 24/10/1985. that make him a year younger than me. he made his premierleague debut on 17/08/2002 against tottenham hotspur at the age of 17. hmm think i was playing against Dunearn Secondary for Kranji Sec when i was 17... OK this fellow later went on to became the youngest ever premierleague scorer, youngest player to represent England, youngest player to score for England and youngest player to score in a European Championship finals. Because of all this CVs, my beloved manchester united is about to splash around 25-millions pound to lure him to old trafford. not sure if I'm even worth $25...alright 25millions pound is really a bargain if you ask me. the amount of publicity this guy can generate is enormous and with greater publicity come higher amount of shirt sales and ultimately, profits for Man Utd. putting the marketing value of him aside, this guy is only 18 with at least another 10 or more years ahead of him. those that saw him play will know that this guy is defenders worse nightmare. other than maturity which honestly he is not suppose to have, he has everything. strength, pace, flair and most importantly for Ruud Van nisterlrooy, the ability to drag defenders out of positions. yea football is a team sport which required great level of team works but, this guy can produce a moment of genius to change the outcome of a match all on his own.
All right after talking how exciting this season is gonna be for a man utd fan, the sad news is Starhub Cable Tv might not be showing EPL live anymore. why? because apparently the EPL have became so big that they are demanding around 300millions from ESS to cover live matches for 3 years. So ESS is demanding more money from starhub which starhub does not intend to pay. according to a friend, ESS is believed to be demanding an increase of 6 times the usual price. YESH!! A BLOODY 6X. i really don't know how am i gonna survive weekends from now onwards..football runs in my veins and taking away that is like taking away colours from my world. so now after telling my friends here that chewing gum is an offense and the price of a Mitsubishi Lancer in spore can get you a Mazda RX 8 here. now i am about to tell them, "in my nation, we don't get to watch EPL because it's too expensive". i don't know what their reactions would be. but mine is of anger, disbelief and disgust. watching movie is expensive, learning car is expensive and now..watching football is also expensive. haiz i don't know what is this world coming to...maybe one day, they'd start charging on stuff like using escalator and lift??? unbelievable? believe it
